  • Virtual or on-site camp: summer camp will have online and on-site camps
    Info session updates

  • Why we use summer time to study? Use the summer time to review the lessons of this school year and pre-study for the new school year; primary and secondary school students, use the summer time at home to strengthen English and prepare for future studies is also a good choice.

  • How to make up for the lack of socialization at home?  In addition to providing some courses for the children, the summer camp also arranged a variety of social activities. The children formed a small community with classmates to do activities together, read the same book, write summaries, and then organized by the teacher to present the stories in class. Not only does this practices writing, but also cultivates French/English speaking ability, and can allow more social life with classmates. The design of these social activities will involve less screen time. Prototyping in some online classes of Elite College have achieved good results. The students are actively involved and very happy. • Management of online classes: We have seen the satisfying results of the current online courses offered by Elite college. We accumulated a lot of experience for online courses, including organizing practice exams to prepare for secondary admission exams. We are confident in our ability to organize a successful online summer camp.

  • Teaching staff and technical support: We selected teachers who are competent in online teaching and gave them training. We continue to train more good online teachers. Students and parents have gradually become familiar with this form of online courses. Students showed positive engagement, learning motivations and good academic results. The online course technical support system is getting more and more stable.

  • The number of students of online classes of summer camp will be controlled to a reasonable size to ensure a good teaching quality.

  • Combination of online class and screen-free activities: Teachers and students are easily getting tired by taking online courses, especially when staring at a screen for long periods of time could result in vision problems. Therefore, it is necessary to make some class adjustments, such as combining breaks between classes, adding some less-used or screen-free courses and activities.

  • How to conduct exams for the Secondary entrance exams? During the summer camp, the simulation exams will try to reduce the use of screen time as much as possible. Based on the original simulation exam method in Elite Camp, with adjustments according to online classes so that the simulation exam can also have the effect of exams in the classroom. In addition to testing students' knowledge, the model exams are also used to promote students' study enthusiasm. Students who do things slowly will increase their speed, and sloppy students become more detailed. Looking at past results, generally speaking, the students, through summer camp studying and intensive exam methodology training, their academic performance will be greatly improved.

  • Will Elite College provide reference for students to apply for secondary schools? The information sessions for this year's secondary entrance exams could be held in an online meeting, if the situation is not permitted in the classroom. In the past, the multiple information sessions were held at the end of the summer camp: Canada / Quebec Education System and Children ’s Education Planning, Quebec Secondary Schools Ranking and its analysis, school costs, characteristics and exam contents of some schools ' entrance exams, introduction to preferred schools for Elite College’s students, etc. Then, through the summer results of the student, we discuss and provide suggestions for secondary school application.
